Model: Abbey Posadas
Concept/Hair and Make Up: Rae Venturanza
So what happens when I have nothing to do, and a make-up artist is itching to do make-up and she has a friend who is willing to be made up? This shoot happens!
Haha.
As Rae said in her blog, spontaneity is the key.
She actually came all the way from a beach trip with friends, and she was just really itching to do this. Thankfully, everything and everyone fell into place. Yay.
All because all the time, God is good.
Thanks to Abbey and her family for being very accommodating and game in spite of the short notice, and thanks to Rae for giving me something to do. Yay!

For Imagine Nation Photography, shot with Toto Villaruel and Dennis Yu.
So, after months/years of planning, and 2 pre-nup sessions (XD), Jimbo and Shayla finally tied the knot (in a church, because, well, they’re already civilly married) last June 4, 2010. Yay.
Actually, you know something? I did not even expect to be there. Why, you ask? Well, it’s simple. See, Toto and Carlo were the ones who were really supposed to shoot the wedding. Jamie and Gracielle also planned to go because… just because. And since I knew Jimbo and Shy were really cutting down on expenses, I didn’t really want to insist on my going, because I would be another mouth to feed. However, you know God works in mysterious ways, right?
What happened, you ask? Gracielle got a Palawan wedding on the day of Jimbo and Shy’s wedding, with Jamie as the backup, so I could finally come along to this wedding. (Side note: if you’re trying not spend too much on food during your own wedding, invite all those who are sure not to come, those with earlier obligations. See? Instant savings! XD). Then, Carlo had to beg off of the wedding because he was planning to do something for his girlfriend for her birthday (yeah, I would choose that too, actually… XD), so I became Toto’s backup. Amazing, right?
And Dennis was free to act as third photographer. So we were all set, right?

Yehey, another wedding posted! April 24, 2010 was the wedding of JD and Vanessa (no, really? XD). 23 days ago from this day we did their pre-nup, and now… it was the big day!
So let’s get to it!

In case you’re wondering, YES, I still do weddings. :D It’s just that… well, it’s hard to fix up a wedding post. XD What with so many pics and all. So for the meantime, go enjoy this personal post. Yay.
So, June 30, 2010. It was the day of the inauguration of Philippine President Noynoy Aquino. It also meant no work/classes for that day! Yay. XD So I had pretty much nothing to do, but good thing I talked to Rae about plans for the 30th. Turned out she planned to go to Corregidor for that day, so me, well… I pretty much invited myself and ruined Rae’s alone time (Sorry Rae, I didn’t know. ^^;).
It was both our first time there and we got there via Sun Cruises which is actually the only way I know of getting over there. We paid not only for the boat ride, but also for a guided tour (which we both could have done without because we wanted to move on our own pace), and a buffet lunch (consisting of two main dishes (pork and chicken), two types of rice (plain or paella), vegetables, salad and assorted desserts, which, in short, for me, was not worth the money we paid. But I digress. XD).
We were both actually pretty worried about the weather that day because it was kinda dark and drizzling (actually, our families were more worried than us), but it was nothing a little prayer couldn’t handle (super thanks God
), and soon, the weather was no longer scary. Yay. And so… on to the pics.
I was making like a tourist here, okay? No artsy-fartsy stuff here, just shots of whatever I thought was interesting. XD

For Imagine Nation Photography, shot with Mikki Eduardo… and with John Mateos Ong and the rest of Batch 5. Too many to all mention. Wahaha. XD
Videography by WANG Videography.
So what’s the story here? Mark and Monette have been married for ten years (even if they amazingly don’t look it… I hope I age as well as they do. XD), and they just wanted to renew their vows complete with better pictures and video. Apparently, their old photos… well, they didn’t like them. So with their renewal this year, they hoped to get better photos. And of course, not to brag, but from me, they’re definitely gonna get those. Hehe.
It also doesn’t hurt that they’re very NICE, as in NICE people, so it was really a pleasure shooting them.
Side note, the church was in Santuario de San Antonio and the reception was in Manila Peninsula, because that’s where it all happened ten years ago. Yay.

Yay, another debut! I love debuts.
(Yes, that’s a hint that I love shooting debuts.
Like duh.) So thank God last May 21, 2010, He gave me one, and a circus-themed at that at the Grand Terrace Venue in QC.
Inna is a student from Ateneo (booooo… I kid, I kid XD), and the responsible student that she is, she actually brought a reviewer, because she had a quiz the day after the debut. How about that, huh. XD And I’m not kidding either. You’ll see it later.
All this was organized by her very nice dad, Sir Perry.
I think he was more enthusiastic about it than she was. Haha!
So, without any more ramblings from me… welcome to Nuvo Cirque!
