I haven’t shot a pre-nup in Intramuros for a long time (2008 to be exact), so I was actually very, VERY happy when we did this shoot last July 24. And look! They’re prepared and they have really awesome props and outfits. And they’re a gorgeous couple! 
And they’re very nice and cooperative too. So it really wasn’t a hard thing to do to wake up early in the morning to shoot them. Yay. And yes, thank you Jed for letting yourself get dragged out of bed in the wee hours of the morning. XD

Actually, this was just shot last week. So why am I posting it this quickly (for me, at least XD)? Well, it’s because their wedding is tomorrow. Haha. Shayla was actually not supposed to join us this shoot, because she… I forgot actually. XD But there, she was able to come along, so it was all good.
Mike and Lyn are, like I said, getting married tomorrow, also in Fernbrook Gardens, and so they had their pre-nup here, all for the sake of continuity. Yay. XD By the way, small world: they know someone who Tiqui shot, and that person who Tiqui shot knows Noel and KL, one of my couples I shot back in May. Sharing. XD

Yay, Enchanted Kingdom! I’ve been here twice, but never to shoot. So when Jamie offered me the opportunity to come along last June 7, 2010, of course I jumped at the chance. Yeh.
It was a fun pre-nup, and I think that was the point of Jayson and Dang anyway. They came with an entourage actually. Haha. So while we were off shooting pics, the rest of them were just wandering around EK. Fun stuff. XD
Me, Jamie, and Jayson and Dang all got unlimited rides. Even if Dang was scared of some of the rides, that didn’t stop her from getting on some of them. Go Dang!

Remember the date, May 27, 2010. Why? Just because. XD Haha. Kidding aside, it was because this day found us getting kicked out (or at least us sneaking off) so many times by so many guards. All this just to shoot this ultimate pre-nup of Jimbo and Shayla. Too bad the rest of our apprentices weren’t able to make it. Oh well. Let’s just wait until someone else is gonna get married in Imagine Nation. I wonder who it will be… XD
Anyway, so, me, Jamie, Dennis and Karla hitched a ride with Mikki to get to Alabang, and then after missing the proper turn to get to Alabang Town Center (XD), we finally arrived, met up with Toto, Kevin, Shayla and Jimbo, and then Gracielle followed after. So without further ado, on to the shoot! So many cute and awesome pics, so this will be a long post.
Theme of the day? Vintage. So, added a little vintage feel to all the pics. Cause they’re clothes are so vintage, they reek of awesomeness and coolness. XD

Confused with the title? Me too! XD I kid, I kid. See… wait, maybe I’d better introduce them first. Anyway, Shayla is one of Imagine Nation’s apprentices, and also one of Mellow 94.7’s DJs every Saturday and Sunday during the “Girl Talk” segment. Jimbo is currently a flight attendant at Philippine Airlines. Shayla also used to be a flight attendant. Now you understand why they’re both pretty. Yay. XD And they’re getting married this coming Friday already. So near!
So May 28, 2010 (this day) was the second part of their pre-nup. But I’m posting this first because there are more pictures from the day before, and… well, just because I feel like it. We shot this day in a hangar. I came even if I shot a wedding the same day (an 8 am wedding to be exact), because, well, it’s a hangar, which means planes. Shayla’s dad owns a plane. Just FYI. XD

Remember that preview I posted a month ago or so? Well, here’s the complete entry this time.
March 25, 2010 was a fun day. Why? Well, when you got a couple like Noel and KL, who are just FUN to be with, it’s pretty impossible not to. XD Noel’s parents tagged along too, with Noel’s mom asking for our signs and telling us things about ourselves that we didn’t tell her about. Cool right? XD This pre-nup was also the first pre-nup that actually had siesta time.
Trivia: why did they book me? Well, Noel and I have the same name, and we both like orange, and they took it as a sign that I should be their photographer. Is that awesome or what? XD

So… Makati. The nightmare for all photographers. Haha. XD But wait, I’m getting ahead of myself.
Chifai and Queenie are going to get married on the 8th of May, and Jay Jay will really be their photographer then. Unfortunately, I might not be there, because I’m gonna be coming from Boracay (there’s a wedding, people, not on vacation 
). Luckily, they chose me to do their pre-nup (last April 19, to be exact). And so I got to meet another really fun couple. So how was the pre-nup? Read on. XD
The first part of their pre-nup was in Makati. Well, they wanted their pre-nup to be in Makati, in the parks there, and when I saw the first park we went to, I was like, WOW. This is awesome. Unfortunately, we needed a permit. Same with the second park we went to. So seriously, Makati, how are people supposed to enjoy them parks with all those requirements? I mean, granted, this is a pre-nup, but it’s for personal use only. It’s not like we’re going to make big bucks from shooting this. It’s just for their wedding.
But I digress. Thankfully, the admin of the third park we went to in the Makati area, the Washington Sycip Park, allowed us to shoot in the park, provided we weren’t going to use the pictures in magazines. Yay! Thank you people of Washington Sycip Park!
On to the pictures. Apparently, Chif and Queenie weren’t used to posing. I sure didn’t see that in these fun photos. That’s a tip: let couples be themselves, and you’ll have great photos. Yes, I learned that from the great photographers in Imagine Nation (yes, this is a shameless plug).

April 1. Holy Thursday for this year. And the day of this awesome shoot. XD JD and Vanessa are getting married on the 24th of this month (just sharing XD) and so this was the only time they had for a pre-nup. Again, just sharing. XD This was a themed pre-nup, and the fact that they had a Combi, a Vespa, and that we would be shooting in the Filling Station certainly helped excite me for the shoot. XD I love pre-nups with all the props and stuff. Heehee. It was also an advantage that it was a holiday (well, in most places anyway, I think). XD

Oh look, we’re entering February territory (Feb. 22, 2010 to be exact)! But no, it doesn’t mean I’ll be finished with backlogs any time soon. 
But well, as that song goes, “one step at a time”. XD Okay, enough of this. Let’s get to the actual shoot!
So, Bryan and Beng are actually already married, and they just wanted to renew their marriage vows (which, of course, is already done, since you know, I post late *hides*), which is sweet. And of course, since this shoot happened before their renewal, technically, this is still a pre-nup. Can I twist logic or what? XD
So, guess where we took these photos of this old-school themed pre-nup. ‘Cause, you know, I ain’t telling!
