So, April 10, 2010 was the date for the wedding of Jon and Kath. Can’t remember them? Well, you can check out their pre-nup way back in November. XD Yes, they’re the people I shot 12 noon or something. Hotness. XD

Anyway, so… wedding day. After we all arrived at the Regalia Tower Suites, the fun started. Let’s get to it. :D

For Imagine Nation Photography, shot with Mikki Eduardo… and with John Mateos Ong and the rest of Batch 5. Too many to all mention. Wahaha. XD

Videography by WANG Videography.

So what’s the story here? Mark and Monette have been married for ten years (even if they amazingly don’t look it… I hope I age as well as they do. XD), and they just wanted to renew their vows complete with better pictures and video. Apparently, their old photos… well, they didn’t like them. So with their renewal this year, they hoped to get better photos. And of course, not to brag, but from me, they’re definitely gonna get those. Hehe. :D It also doesn’t hurt that they’re very NICE, as in NICE people, so it was really a pleasure shooting them. :D

Side note, the church was in Santuario de San Antonio and the reception was in Manila Peninsula, because that’s where it all happened ten years ago. Yay. :D

So… 1.9.10. XD 3rd wedding only for the year, and it was already awesome! :D Thank you Jay Jay for making me your second photog. It was also this wedding that I got to experience shooting with Mayad Studios (although I know them already… well, not all of them. I got the cold shoulder treatment from some of them… ahem ahem XD), and shooting with them just helped make the shoot funner (yes, that’s not a word). This wedding was also of course, coordinated by Amanda Tirol and her team. :D

What is the story of this awesome couple? Well, I guess we can first say that it was actually started by their respective fathers. :D Every time their families would see one another, Richie’s dad would tell Alex’s dad that one day, one of his sons would marry one of Alex’s dad’s daughters. Talk about foreshadowing. :D

Anyway, they met really in a church retreat in 1999, and then dated on and off until Alex went to college in Paris in 2001 (and yes, you will notice that the so many guests here are from different nationalities… it’s because Alex attended school in so many places :D ). And basically, Alex and Richie just kept in touch (Richie went off to London for his masters), and finally, one summer in 2005, since they were both single, they got back together! And eventually, Richie proposed in January 2009. Talk about made for each other. :D

So, on to the pictures of this really great wedding! :D

In case you’re wondering, yes, I STILL do weddings. XD And yes, there were four photographers that day.

Anyway… to start this story, I wasn’t supposed to have a wedding this day, December 27, 2009. But… well, I got one. Haha. XD

The day started when we went over to G Hotel, decided it was still too early, and went off to eat. When we got back to finally go up to the hotel, the driver was missing, and my stuff and Erron’s were still locked up in the van. Good thing he finally showed up so we go to shoot too. Yay. XD

Finally, the last October wedding for 2009 (October 29, 2009, to be exact XD) is posted! Celebrate with me! :D *cues whistles and cheers* Okay, that’s enough. Let’s move on. XD

Michelle is a lawyer who works in Ortigas (hi neighbor!), while Jeremiah, or JD, is a film editor. He edited the award-winning indie film “Endo”, if I’m not mistaken. :D Interesting combination, don’t you think?

Remember Daniel and Anjo’s pre-nup? If not, too bad. XD Kidding. Haha. You can just view it again (click the link!). Anyway, Daniel and Anjo (yes, it’s them again, haha :D ) got married last October 1, in Taal Vista Resort in Tagaytay. This was a unique wedding in the sense they only had 13 guests. Add the two of them and 5 of us, and that makes 20 people in the wedding. Haha. XD Yay for small, intimate weddings!

Some more latest weddings :D

November 2, 2009

I just wanted to share some of my latest weddings.  :D   Well, there are just two of them that I’d like to share, they’re the most recent.  Haha.  XD

Here’s Daniel and Anjo.  Their wedding was last October 1, in Taal Vista, in Tagaytay.  This was a first for me, in many ways.  XD  The most memorable point about this wedding is that they only had 13 guests.  :D

And here’s Patrick and Caroline.  This was supposed to be Erron and Jason’s wedding, last Sept. 27, but unfortunately, because of Ondoy, it didn’t push through.  Thankfully, it did push through last October 4.  :D   One reason why it was memorable was because, well, I was wasted.  Kakagaling ko lang Bacolod that morning eh.  Haha.

So anyway, just keep checking my site to get updates.  Yay.  XD

Latest wedding preview!

Here’s a teaser of Jeremiah and Michelle’s wedding. This was last 10.29.09. This was one of the coolest weddings I’ve shot. Hehe. :D More to come… soon. XD

For Imagine Nation Photography (http://www.imaginenationphoto.com), shot with Toto Villaruel (http://totovillaruel.com), Derrick Lim (http://deckdeck.multiply.com) and Jowell Mariano (http://lightdrink.multiply.com).

This was my first Bora wedding ever! Well, technically second. Haha. XD Anyway, since there was a party the night before at Sir Jong’s wedding reception, and I don’t know what the heck I was doing after that, I arrived late at the preps. Good thing I was only a VA. Hahaha. XD

So anyway, since I can’t really say this is a complete post, let’s just post all the highlights for me for this wedding! :D Hawhaw.

Batch 3 shoot ah. Pansin ko lang. XD

So… how do I start this entry? I don’t know. Hahaha. XD This was actually one of the more unconventional (therefore cool) weddings I’ve ever covered, so I don’t really know how to start. XD What do I mean by unconventional? Well, there really wasn’t an actual “preps” section, and we had the group pictorials and in-betweens first before the actual ceremony, and… well, I’m getting ahead of myself. I’ll just start. XD

Let’s just say that the photos here will just be the moments I like. Or something. Basta, ‘yon na ‘yon. XD

Some of the info here will be supplemented by stuff I get from Nicole’s Facebook. Haha. :D

Nicole is a professor for UP Diliman, while Andre is a lawyer who once worked for the WTO. Ganda ng combination ‘no? Haha. XD

Random trivia: They shot their own pre-nup session. :D

Preps was at the Intercon Hotel. Wala lang, sharing. XD Yes, I was late. Haha. XD
