Yay, finally a complete blog post! XD I remember meeting Kayci way back in 2010 when she dropped by the studio during the time I was waiting for a client to arrive for a pre-nup. Little did I know that she would book me. Cool right? Haha. XD

Anyway, so funny thing was that Kayci kept telling me Don wasn’t that expressive (he’s a soldier you see) so we would probably have a hard time shooting him. And it’s true, he wasn’t that expressive but I didn’t have a difficult time shooting him at all. He also came up to me at the end of the night and told me I made everyone look good in the pictures. Awesome to hear right?

It was one fun wedding, especially with Kayci’s self-proclaimed maidens of horror making it all so fun during the preps and with Kayci herself being just crazy funny. XD

So yes, if you know about Sunshine Plata, then you know she paints using coffee as her medium, and you would also know that her works have been featured in Ripley’s Believe it or Not, and that her works are displayed in their museum in New York (something like that if I’m not mistaken XD) and that there’s a book being sold in Bo’s Coffee that features her works.

But did you know she got married 2 weeks ago? Maybe you didn’t. Well, now you know. XD And thanks to the awesome weather God gave to us during the wedding day, we got this really awesome shot of her and Mike (her husband XD) in the rain!

Oh and trivia, I shot her sister’s wedding back in 2010, and now I shot her wedding. And they have one more sister to go. Haha. XD

So it’s like this… Rae and I woke up earlier than 4 AM on Labor Day so that we could be at Les and Cel’s village in Merville so that we could still use the awesome golden light of the just rising sun (and avoid a lot of people looking at us XD). And it was amazing that we succeeded.

Les and Cel really love dogs, so we used two of them in the prenup. Cuties!

She’s a doctor, he designs costumes for cosplayers in the U.S.A (and they both do cosplay, which is very cool, for a comic lover like myself ). Cool combo right? XD And because of that, we get a mask-themed reception for their wedding (the actual wedding was a Filipiniana theme XD).
