OMG! I finally got to blog a wedding again! Whoo! It feels so good! Anyway, let’s move on to the actual wedding. XD

So, this wedding was last May 22, 2010. What? You can’t remember Noel and KL? Come on. He’s the guy who likes orange like me! You gotta be kidding. Oh well, if you really don’t, go check out their pre-nup.

Anyway… let’s get on with the wedding! This is actually one of my more memorable ones, aside from the fact that the groom has the same name as mine and also likes orange. Why, you ask? Well, just read on.

So, the day before, I was shooting a debut, and I got home pretty late, and so when I arrived at the meeting place for the van, I was kinda wasted and… enough about me. ^^ We go to Laguna pretty early actually, which was good. Actually, we arrived an hour before the actual call time. So when we got there, we just walked in on KL fixing her gown. Hello!

So, on to the details. Awesome gown! I really like the detail here. The theme was Filipiniana and… well, I just like it.

They actually had their own cork board, and there was this heart. So… I used it. ^^

On to Noel, while KL was getting her make-up done.

So while I left Michelle and Jed to continue shooting Noel, it was now KL’s turn. And she wouldn’t be outdone by Noel in terms of the funny stuff. XD

Yay, details.

Okay, before we continue. Back story: around this time, the flowers for KL and the church and for the reception were missing. Why? I actually don’t know. They never arrived. So what did we do? I just told Mark, one of our assists, to just grab whatever flowers he could find around the resort. And he did it. Good job.

See, she now has a bouquet.

Off to church.

Since this is the only time I’ve been in this part of Laguna (San Pedro to be exact)… this was my first time in Nuestra Senora de Remedios church. And this is the church. Isn’t it pretty and full of character? ^^

Oh yeah, so another story. The flowers didn’t arrive, right? Because of that, KL didn’t have a backdrop for her entrance either. What did we do? We got the curtains in the resort (you did notice them right? XD) and we (okay, my team ) attached it to the gate. Instant backdrop!

Special mention to “Spider-Mark” for clambering up the gate to tie the thing. Good job!

So going back… Noel is all ready for the wedding.

So… yes, the church was hot. If you could have seen me that day, wearing long sleeves… Man, I was totally wasted by the heat. XD See Noel wiping his face? He had a fan on him and KL though. ^^

Noel’s mom. She said she wasn’t going to cry, and avoided my camera at all costs, but I was patient, and finally caught her! Yeah! XD

I’m really happy me and my team were able to help make their wedding day run smoother. Like Noel said in his text after the wedding, “I hope we inspire other couples through your blog of our wedding!” And we’re supposed to go out soon too. Hope the pushes through. Hehe. So one day, I had no shoot, and I was bored… so I was hit with the idea of doing something. I just didn’t know what. XD Thankfully, my good friend Chelle Serrano (who is also a make-up artist by the way, so if you need one, get her ) texted me to ask what I was doing. When I said nothing, she was like, “Quick, shoot me in this dream wedding gown of mine I borrowed!” So I was like, “…Okay.” XD

We just shot in her large bathroom. Imagine that. Haha. XD And she showed that she could work it too.

And there. It was fun.

So anyway, for future reference… If I’m bored, and you’re my friend, and you want pictures, let me know. I might just be feeling generous. Haha.

I haven’t shot a pre-nup in Intramuros for a long time (2008 to be exact), so I was actually very, VERY happy when we did this shoot last July 24. And look! They’re prepared and they have really awesome props and outfits. And they’re a gorgeous couple! And they’re very nice and cooperative too. So it really wasn’t a hard thing to do to wake up early in the morning to shoot them. Yay. And yes, thank you Jed for letting yourself get dragged out of bed in the wee hours of the morning. XD

So, April 10, 2010 was the date for the wedding of Jon and Kath. Can’t remember them? Well, you can check out their pre-nup way back in November. XD Yes, they’re the people I shot 12 noon or something. Hotness. XD

Anyway, so… wedding day. After we all arrived at the Regalia Tower Suites, the fun started. Let’s get to it.

So, the church had a rule there that all the women had to be in skirts and had their heads covered by veils. Yep, even the kids.

Even the photographers (which makes me doubly glad I’m a guy). XD

Actually, this was just shot last week. So why am I posting it this quickly (for me, at least XD)? Well, it’s because their wedding is tomorrow. Haha. Shayla was actually not supposed to join us this shoot, because she… I forgot actually. XD But there, she was able to come along, so it was all good.

Mike and Lyn are, like I said, getting married tomorrow, also in Fernbrook Gardens, and so they had their pre-nup here, all for the sake of continuity. Yay. XD By the way, small world: they know someone who Tiqui shot, and that person who Tiqui shot knows Noel and KL, one of my couples I shot back in May. Sharing. XD
