Why Bonifacio High Street? It’s because Therese loves this place. Aww. :D

This was originally supposed to be on the 31st of October, and actually, I was kinda problematic about it, because, well, there was a storm. Heck, we were at a party the night before, and the wind was SCARY. PAGASA actually declared it signal number 3. I think. So, the morning of that day, I got a text from Therese, saying that it was canceled, and that it was moved to Nov. 2, which thankfully, was an available day for me. :D We thought we would have a problem with the permit, since it was for a different day, but since it was never used, we were allowed to use it. Yay. Thank you Bonifacio High Street admin! :D

I was pretty excited about this because it was my first time to shoot there. :D And since it was early morning, we had to think of ways to wake the two up, so this shoot was all about just having fun.

Angela’s Debut 6.13.09

November 20, 2009

For Imagine Nation Photography (http://www.imaginenationphoto.com), shot with Erron Ocampo and Marie Rimmer.

Okay, sue me, I’m pathetic. I’ve been Imagine Nation for so long already, but this was my first debut with the studio. XD I’ve been to debuts, sure, but the last time was way back in 2003/2004, so well… let’s just say it’s been a while. :D And yes, no doubt you’re wondering why it took me a long time to post this. Well… just because. :P

This debut was cool, it had a Broadway theme. Ms. Pooh and her amazing team of coordinators were in charge of the whole event, so let’s just say there was no stress whatsoever. Jesy Alto was Angela’s make-up artist, so it can be said that she just looked gorgeous. And of course, Imagine Nation was covering the event. Need I say more about the quality of the coverage? I didn’t think so. XD

Ron and Ailene wedding 9.5.09

November 18, 2009

For Imagine Nation Photography (http://www.imaginenationphoto.com), shot with Lai De Guzman.

Wedding was 9 am, so we had to be at the hotel 5 am. Oh the humanity! Just kidding. It’s nothing we couldn’t handle. Haha. XD

Just like Jayson and Aileen, Darwin and Carol were also winners of a freenup from Imagine Nation. Yay. :D This shoot was actually a bit funny, because the only thing that was really planned was that we would shoot in Subic. That’s it. No specific place in Subic. Haha. All the shots here are either escape shots, or in places that didn’t require any permit. Heck, even Carol escaped from her work as a doctor just for this shoot. XD Come to think of it, this is the second time I had this kind of shoot with Jamie… What’s up with that? XD

Yay, it’s finally posted. Haha. :D Jason and Anna are Filipinos who are both based in Guam. Just sharing. XD They’re getting married on the 24th of December this year in Calaruega. Cool right? :D And they’re such a nice and gorgeous couple, so it was fun to shoot them. :D This was in Tagaytay Highlands. This time, there was an actual permit, so no more sneaking around necessary, unlike Daniel and Anjo’s pre-nup. Wahahaha. XD

This was in Tagaytay Highlands, last October 15, and I shot with Toto, which meant one great shoot! Hehe. :D I will post more of this soon, promise. I really loved this shoot, so I’m really taking a long time to make sure I make this a great post. Haha. :D But it will come soon, promise. Until then, browse the rest of my site. :D

For Imagine Nation Photography (http://www.imaginenationphoto.com), shot with John Mateos Ong and Gen Poe.

Whoo! First ever out of town with Imagine Nation, as in I rode a plane and stuff. XD Hahaha. This is gonna be kind of a long, LOOOOOOONG entry, so bear with me. Haha. :D This was my second time to back-up for Sir Jong. The wedding was in Bohol, so it was kinda semi-sorta like a beach wedding, but not really. It was a beach reception. I ramble. Haha. :D It was nice to be with the guys from WANG and Joel and Ms. Madge (who did the hair and make-up, respectively). It was just like one whole vacation, except that we were working.

Anyway, let’s move on. :D Ben and Jaimee are both based in the States, so it was cool that they had the wedding here, so that more members of their family could attend. Jaimee is one of the most expressive brides I’ve ever shot. Look at her smile in the pictures… well, down there. Haha. :D It was really a HAPPY smile, which makes me HAPPY as well. I love it when people don’t hold back their emotions. Ben is probably the biggest groom I’ve ever shot so far. And I mean big BUFF. He was like Batista! It was a good thing he’s also a very nice person, or I would pretty much be scared during the whole wedding. Kidding. :D

Anyway, let’s go on with the pictures. :D This day found me with a stuffy nose, and a slight fever, but thankfully, it didn’t stop me from being trigger happy. Work does my body good. XD Thank God I was able to perform. Hehe.

Jayson and Aileen are getting married on 10.10.2010. Cool right? :D It’s actually one of the most booked wedding dates evah. Heck, Imagine Nation is fully booked that month. XD Jayson and Aileen actually won a freenup from us, and Jowell was the one assigned to shoot it. I just tagged along really. XD Haha. We shot in UST, because they’re both from there. :D I actually love hearing the story of how Jayson proposed to his future wife. Everything got ruined by a tricycle driver. Wahahaha. XD

This day was also the day there were so many students taking the UST entrance exam. Weird, the people at the permit office told the couple there was nothing happening that day. I guess they didn’t consider it important. XD

Anyway, here are the shots I really like. :D

For Imagine Nation Photography (http://www.imaginenationphoto.com), shot with Paul Vargas.

William and Kristeen, well, when I met them, are based in Dubai. I don’t know if they still are up to now. Haha. XD It was cool really, very coincidental, they dropped by the studio and I just happened to be there. According to Kristeen, she really picked me out of all the Junior Photographers of Imagine Nation. Cool. :D

Their wedding was a garden wedding in Oasis, and they prepared at Sofitel. Funny thing, the call time was like 10, 11, and we got there 30 minutes before, thanks to Roger’s fast driving and that day being a Sunday, which meant no traffic. Haha. And the weird thing was, Sofitel had no room for them yet, so we just spent a few minutes hanging around the lobby. Hawhaw. XD

When we finally got to the room, we started shooting. While talking to Kristeen, I found out she was a bit jittery and nervous, because for example, the hair and make-up people weren’t there yet, and William didn’t have a room because no one had checked out just yet (for some reason, Sofitel was full that day) so I called everybody together and we all prayed for the weather to hold (it looked like it was about to rain), and for everything to work out. God was definitely with us that day, as the day suddenly became really hot. Haha! XD
