For Imagine Nation Photography, shot with Toto Villaruel.

Again, we’ll skip a bit (sorry backlogs XD), and we’ll go to more recent shoots. Haha. :D Jake is my batch mate in high school and college, although we had different courses, and yes, he’s getting married already! Cool. :D Anyway, they’re having their wedding in a few months, and I was really honored that they decided to get me as their photographer.

Anyway, since they only had a short time before the wedding, they decided to have the pre-nup as early as possible, and thankfully it fit into my schedule, and thankfully also, Anna’s family has a house in Tagaytay. Hehe. :D

So… hmm… how do I sequence the pictures… I’m not really sure, haha. :D It’s actually a long and complicated story, because we arrived in the house almost like sunset already, and so… ahh, it’s too long. Let’s just tell it while we show the pics, yeah? :D

Pardon the pun. Haha. :D

Incidentally, we also shot with Atty. Raymond Fortun. The wedding was coordinated by Jody Liwanag and company, the make-up by the Make-up Studio team (Xeng and Angel), and the video coverage was by Wang Videography. Just sharing. XD

Yay, now we’re in December! :D This was my first December wedding. This was also my first time to shoot wedding preps in Discovery Suites in Ortigas. Again, just sharing. XD

Jon and Raquel are both chefs, which meant great eating for all of us. Haha. :D The food at the preps was… well, can you just say PLENTY? :D

Just to mix things up a little, let’s go to a December shoot. XD December is certainly one of the busiest months for the wedding industry (in the Philippines at least), but I just couldn’t say no to Donna and Dennis when they requested that they have their pre-nup on the 23rd of December. Why, you ask? Well, one, I had no shoot at the time, and two, they live in the States and were only coming here for the holidays. So, cool. XD

I have spent a lot of time in UP Diliman, but believe it or not, this was only my first pre-nup shoot ever there. Haha. XD And thank you Dennis and Donna for finally allowing me to use this place. I’ve been spotting so many shootable areas in here since… forever. XD

Finally, the last October wedding for 2009 (October 29, 2009, to be exact XD) is posted! Celebrate with me! :D *cues whistles and cheers* Okay, that’s enough. Let’s move on. XD

Michelle is a lawyer who works in Ortigas (hi neighbor!), while Jeremiah, or JD, is a film editor. He edited the award-winning indie film “Endo”, if I’m not mistaken. :D Interesting combination, don’t you think?

Yes, this is already a November wedding. I said I was gonna finish October already, right? I lied. XD But it’s coming soon, promise. Anyway…

November 7, 2009. We can call this post about dentist love. Or something. Haha. XD See, they’re both dentists. Good thing the preps was just in Crowne Plaza, so all I had to do to get to the hotel was walk for 10 minutes or so. No need to wake up early. Yay. XD

Well, I’ve been kinda busy lately (you would know if you know me XD), and it’s kinda hard to select pictures to post, so with that said, I’m just gonna post these pictures that really struck me of Rico and Therese’s wedding last November 6. Remember them? Don’t? Check out Rico and Therese’s pre-nup again. Maybe it will refresh your memory. XD They had their wedding at Mt. Carmel, and the reception was at Oasis. Anyway, on to the pics! These are just pictures of the two of them after the ceremony. They’re such a cute couple, aren’t they? :D

Mt. Carmel had these awesome textures on their walls. Complete with graffiti. Or something. Whatever, these walls are cool. :D

Yay, another post! :D If you remember, Antonio and Michelle had their pre-nup with me before, in Oasis only, and that was one of my favoriter ones. Yes, that’s not a word, I know. XD Anyway… so here’s their wedding, last October 24, 2009. Their hotel was Great Eastern Hotel in Quezon Avenue, and their church was in UST. This time, they were no longer as quiet as before in their pre-nup, which was good, because now we could talk to them more. You know me, not used to silence. XD

In 2008, I had a pre-nup in La Luz with Sir Jong. In 2009, I got a pre-nup with Sir Jong (this one). Will next year bring me another pre-nup in La Luz with Sir Jong? XD Just curious. Hehe.

Anyway, this was last November 27. And the next day was me and Sir Jong in a wedding. Was I crazy coming along for this shoot? I don’t care, it was worth it. :D

Chris and Anna are two of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and they were a gorgeous couple as well. :D I pretty much talked their ears off as we made our way to La Luz (it was more than a four hour trip XD), and Anna couldn’t sleep because she had make-up on (courtesy of the Make-Up Studio), and to sleep was to ruin it. Haha. XD It was cool, because I got to know them more. For example, our pre-nup location was actually an exercise of irony for Chris, because he can’t swim. Or was it because he was afraid of water? Something like that. But he did a good job anyway with the pre-nup. :D

October 4, 2009. This wedding has one of the most touching stories ever, for me. It was also the most tiring, as I just came from Bacolod the day before from another wedding. See, the call time at the hotel was…10(?), and I got back to Manila around 7:30, so there was only time for me to go home, get dressed with new clothes, sleep for around 5 minutes, and then go to Dusit Hotel. Thank God for coffee, chocolates, and Gatorade. XD Oh, and thanks to Threelogy Video, because you guys made the shoot funner. XD (Yes, in case you didn’t pick it up yet, sila ang video. XD) Special thanks also to Events by Clarice for making all our lives easier that day. :D

Anyway, here’s the story, in their own words. :D “It was a miracle Wedding. We got wed on Oct 4, 2009 and everything went smoothly. The church was serene; the flowers were crisp and fresh; the guests looked very classy in their formal attires; the hotel was splendid; the bride and her gown were gorgeous; everything was simply…. perfect. The miracle? The wedding was supposed to happen on Sept 27, 2009, and it was only 9pm of Sept 26 that we decided to move everything, indefinitely.” Want to read more? Erron was supposed to shoot this wedding, but he already had another wedding for this day, so it fell to Derrick and to myself. The results? Not too shabby, if I do say so myself. Hey, I take pride in my work. XD

Also, what was touching about these two was that they made sure to find out who their suppliers would be and gave us all gifts, thanking us for being part of their wedding. Classy. I lahvet. :D
