So, why do I say that God meant for me to be at Nico and Pier’s wedding? Well, it’s actually a very long story, but here goes. You see, originally, on December 16, the date of this wedding, I was supposed to back up Erron for a wedding in Boracay. Nico and Pier tried to book me, but apparently, I couldn’t be pulled from my slot, so they booked Tiqui instead. Just then, I find out that someone booked me for the 17th of December, so I could also not be in Boracay anymore, because that would mean I would have to fly the earliest flight possible back to Manila, and that might screw things up in the schedule, or something like that. Haha. Of course, the logic of why I couldn’t be booked for the 16th but then I get removed from the 16th anyway so that I could shoot someone on the 17th is beyond me, but I don’t want to dwell on that anymore, because it’s just going to make my head hurt.

Moving on, so I traded my back up slot with Dominic, so I ended up in this (Nico and Pier’s) wedding. And so there, the couple still end up with me, even if I’m not the main. XD

Isn’t it amazing how God just makes everything work out? :)

Whoo, 2nd December 24 wedding! :D On a side note, yes, I am not going to be posting in chronological order anymore. Aside from the fact that it’s predictable (it is, really! I swear! XD)… well, there, I just don’t want to be predictable. Yay. XD

Weddings at Work had this poll for suppliers earlier this year (you’d think it’s already late 2010 XD), asking for their most memorable wedding of 2009. I didn’t get to submit this wedding at all (because well… I was busy), but for me, this is my most memorable wedding of 2009. Why, you ask? Well, plenty of reasons. :D

1. Jason and Anna are one of the coolest, goregeousest (yes, that’s not a word :P ) couples I’ve ever shot;
2. It was December 24 (um, duh!) and it was in Tagatay (meaning it was cold!);
3. Despite the fact that it was the day before Christmas and the couple flew in all the way from Guam, they still had plenty of guests. As in the house was packed! I mean, fine, granted that pretty much all of their guests are home for the holidays, still, it was a big thing for them to be away from home and other loved ones to attend Jason and Anna’s wedding, and that was a big, touching thing for these people to do. Kudos to them. :D And finally;
4. On the way to the wedding, we saw a really big traffic accident (yes, the grotesque, misshapen cars are still in my mind. Thank God there were no bodies to be seen.), and it reminded us of the fact that we’re thankful we’re still alive to enjoy Christmas with our loved ones, and it also reminded us to take our time going home. Yes, this had nothing to do with the wedding. Sue me. :P

For me personally (and people who know me well know I am my own worst critic), Jason and Anna’s pre-nup was one of the best shoots I’ve ever done. Would their wedding match up or surpass their pre-nup? I think it did. ;)

This awesome shoot was styled by the very amazing stylist Feliz Diestro. :D

This pre-nup was supposed to be in Macau, but Rodnie and Cha didn’t have time for that, so I suggested that they just go for a themed pre-nup here, which thankfully, they did go for. This led to a really great shoot (last January 28, 2010)! :D The theme of the day? Because Travel was the theme, we had to make it look like they… well, they traveled. Haha. XD

On to the pictures (my favorites :D ).

We started inside Pan Pacific Hotel. Thank you to the people there for the very nice service. :D
