Okay, sue me, I’m pathetic. I’ve been Imagine Nation for so long already, but this was my first debut with the studio. XD I’ve been to debuts, sure, but the last time was way back in 2003/2004, so well… let’s just say it’s been a while.
And yes, no doubt you’re wondering why it took me a long time to post this. Well… just because.
This debut was cool, it had a Broadway theme. Ms. Pooh and her amazing team of coordinators were in charge of the whole event, so let’s just say there was no stress whatsoever. Jesy Alto was Angela’s make-up artist, so it can be said that she just looked gorgeous. And of course, Imagine Nation was covering the event. Need I say more about the quality of the coverage? I didn’t think so. XD
Let’s get blogging then.

Since the theme of the debut is Broadway, there were plenty of production numbers from our debutante herself.
We went down for a while to the venue to watch her practice with her friends and her dad. They all worked really hard to make the debut successful.

Of course, a little prayer never hurt.

When we all went back upstairs for Angela to continue with her make-up, well, how do I describe this?… Um…
Angela became tense and started to cry, because well… I guess everyone knows that feeling where you practice really hard and you just feel all the pressure and you still feel that what you’ve done is not enough.

Heck, I even got this shot of her looking at me as if pleading for help. You go to me for help, it must be really desperate times. Kidding. XD

But hey, we’re more than just wedding suppliers. We’re… I have no idea what to call us. Whatever we were, we all helped out to make sure Angela calmed down and stopped crying. Actually, I just pretty much said it was Jesy’s fault. Haha. XD Soon, it worked, and everything was moving forward again. Back to the make-up!

Even Angela’s kid brother got the grooming treatment… even if I don’t think he liked it all that much. XD

Want to see the results of all that make-up and hairstyling? Well, here we go. Like I said, there was no doubt she was going to look gorgeous that night.

And we’re off to the races… I mean debut. If you didn’t notice the set-up earlier, check this out.

The event started with a rousing dance number from Angela and her friends to the music of “Hairspray”. Note that yes, she has different hair and outfit. That’s just magic for people to be able to just do that quickly. XD

The dance number even had her flying in the air. Watch out for that low ceiling! XD

One quick outfit change, and she comes back in her gown, singing a song from “Phantom of the Opera” (if I remember correctly). XD

She then immediately jumps into a number with her dad, to the sounds of “Annie”. She has one cool dad.

After her mom gives a speech, she goes over and hugs mom. Awww.

Surrounded by her 18 Candles/Treasures (not sure anymore… XD).

Angela and her family giving out a toast to… well, to her. Haha.

Angela thanks everybody who came, and who helped her out…

And there’s one special thank you for her mom, who was pretty much with her at the start of the planning and up to today. Mom gets a large bunch of flowers. She’s positively beaming.

Speaking of mom, she and dad perform a dance number of their own…

before Angela and her friends come out again for one last dance number. She even dances with her kid brother here. Cute.

After that, it’s party time!

Great job Angela!
That was a great debut! Props to everyone who worked on it.
