So, April 10, 2010 was the date for the wedding of Jon and Kath. Can’t remember them? Well, you can check out their pre-nup way back in November. XD Yes, they’re the people I shot 12 noon or something. Hotness. XD

Anyway, so… wedding day. After we all arrived at the Regalia Tower Suites, the fun started. Let’s get to it. :D

So, why did Rodnie and Cha decide to get married on the 13th of February this year? Well, it was the closest to Valentine’s. Or something. XD No actually, if I remember correctly, February 13 was the closest Saturday available to them, since Rodnie proposed on a February also. Actually, Rodnie proposed to Cha once before already, but Cha didn’t want to get married then. Good thing she finally said yes the second time he proposed (and she now has 2 engagement rings as a result… the dream of every woman. Joke. XD).

Still remember their awesome pre-nup in “Macau”? No? You suck. Kidding. XD Click the link to check it out again. And then after, check out their wedding photos in this post. :D Loved this wedding, because there were so many moments of… moments. Haha. XD

So… first wedding of the year. Call time at the hotel of the bride and groom? 3 AM. Yehmen. XD This was last January 3, 2010, 2 days after my birthday. Just sharing. XD

I forgot why Alain and Eileen wanted a 7 AM wedding. XD But anyway… yes, the wedding was at 7 AM. So you know that whoever would be attending really, really love these two. XD Good thing their hotel was just in Astoria, near where I live, so no problem on being late or anything. The bigger problem was letting my mind work. Oh well, it was a problem a little coffee had no trouble fixing. :D

On to the pics. Just some of my favorites. :D

Well, I’ve been kinda busy lately (you would know if you know me XD), and it’s kinda hard to select pictures to post, so with that said, I’m just gonna post these pictures that really struck me of Rico and Therese’s wedding last November 6. Remember them? Don’t? Check out Rico and Therese’s pre-nup again. Maybe it will refresh your memory. XD They had their wedding at Mt. Carmel, and the reception was at Oasis. Anyway, on to the pics! These are just pictures of the two of them after the ceremony. They’re such a cute couple, aren’t they? :D

Mt. Carmel had these awesome textures on their walls. Complete with graffiti. Or something. Whatever, these walls are cool. :D

Yay, another post! :D If you remember, Antonio and Michelle had their pre-nup with me before, in Oasis only, and that was one of my favoriter ones. Yes, that’s not a word, I know. XD Anyway… so here’s their wedding, last October 24, 2009. Their hotel was Great Eastern Hotel in Quezon Avenue, and their church was in UST. This time, they were no longer as quiet as before in their pre-nup, which was good, because now we could talk to them more. You know me, not used to silence. XD

First of all, December was a hectic month, so please forgive me if I haven’t been able to update lately. Here’s a little something to make up for it my dear followers. XD

Oh and secondly, Happy New Year! :D

Moving on…

Maybe God decided I needed a break from weddings, so He sent me a debut to shoot. Works for me. :D I met Renz and her family a long time ago, like… 4 months or something before her actual debut. It’s like it was meant to be that I was the one who was booked. I was there, Jay Jay told me to go talk to them, they weren’t particular about any photographer, and so… well, I got the booking for her October debut in Oasis. Yeah. XD It was a fun night, and stress free. :D

Her debut actually had a butterfly theme, so all the traditional 18 candles, treasures, and roses, they all got called something different: 18 wings, nets, and… I forgot. Sorry. :D

And you will see that everything was practically butterflied (yes, I know that’s not exactly a word :P ).

Here’s Jonathan and Kathrina’s pre-nup pictorial last November 12. Gracielle is their main photographer for their wedding next year, but she wasn’t available this day, so I took it with Jamie. Haha. :D The couple is based in Singapore so they just really went home to take care of all these things.

Jonathan and Kathrina actually had a studio pictorial first, and then we just took it outside, even if it was around 12 already in the afternoon, because, quite frankly, the Oasis garden is funner. XD Who says you can’t shoot outside at 12?

Wedding was 9 am, so we had to be at the hotel 5 am. Oh the humanity! Just kidding. It’s nothing we couldn’t handle. Haha. XD

William and Kristeen, well, when I met them, are based in Dubai. I don’t know if they still are up to now. Haha. XD It was cool really, very coincidental, they dropped by the studio and I just happened to be there. According to Kristeen, she really picked me out of all the Junior Photographers of Imagine Nation. Cool. :D

Their wedding was a garden wedding in Oasis, and they prepared at Sofitel. Funny thing, the call time was like 10, 11, and we got there 30 minutes before, thanks to Roger’s fast driving and that day being a Sunday, which meant no traffic. Haha. And the weird thing was, Sofitel had no room for them yet, so we just spent a few minutes hanging around the lobby. Hawhaw. XD

When we finally got to the room, we started shooting. While talking to Kristeen, I found out she was a bit jittery and nervous, because for example, the hair and make-up people weren’t there yet, and William didn’t have a room because no one had checked out just yet (for some reason, Sofitel was full that day) so I called everybody together and we all prayed for the weather to hold (it looked like it was about to rain), and for everything to work out. God was definitely with us that day, as the day suddenly became really hot. Haha! XD
