OMG! I finally got to blog a wedding again! Whoo! It feels so good! Anyway, let’s move on to the actual wedding. XD

So, this wedding was last May 22, 2010. What? You can’t remember Noel and KL? Come on. He’s the guy who likes orange like me! You gotta be kidding. Oh well, if you really don’t, go check out their pre-nup. :P

Anyway… let’s get on with the wedding! :D This is actually one of my more memorable ones, aside from the fact that the groom has the same name as mine and also likes orange. Why, you ask? Well, just read on. :)

I haven’t shot a pre-nup in Intramuros for a long time (2008 to be exact), so I was actually very, VERY happy when we did this shoot last July 24. And look! They’re prepared and they have really awesome props and outfits. And they’re a gorgeous couple! :D And they’re very nice and cooperative too. :D So it really wasn’t a hard thing to do to wake up early in the morning to shoot them. Yay. :D And yes, thank you Jed for letting yourself get dragged out of bed in the wee hours of the morning. XD

On with the pics! :D

So, April 10, 2010 was the date for the wedding of Jon and Kath. Can’t remember them? Well, you can check out their pre-nup way back in November. XD Yes, they’re the people I shot 12 noon or something. Hotness. XD

Anyway, so… wedding day. After we all arrived at the Regalia Tower Suites, the fun started. Let’s get to it. :D

For Imagine Nation Photography, shot with Shayla Hembrador-Sanchez and Jed Ray Calara.

Make-up by Madella de Leon of The Make-up Studio. :D

Actually, this was just shot last week. So why am I posting it this quickly (for me, at least XD)? Well, it’s because their wedding is tomorrow. Haha. :D Shayla was actually not supposed to join us this shoot, because she… I forgot actually. XD But there, she was able to come along, so it was all good.

Mike and Lyn are, like I said, getting married tomorrow, also in Fernbrook Gardens, and so they had their pre-nup here, all for the sake of continuity. Yay. XD By the way, small world: they know someone who Tiqui shot, and that person who Tiqui shot knows Noel and KL, one of my couples I shot back in May. Sharing. XD

On to my favorite pics of the shoot, with no particular order really… I think. XD

For Imagine Nation Photography, shot with Dominic Barrios and Jaja Samaniego.

So, last March 20, 2010 (whee, backlog galore! XD), James and Cai got married. They’re both Dominic’s friends in Singles for Christ in their chapter (or was it only Cai?), and I think Doms is their chapter head, so Doms ordered them to get him as their photographer. KIDDING. :D They got Doms as their photographer because they’re friends and they like his shooting style, DUH! And there, I was lucky to be chosen as the backup. :D I also remember this day because… well, I think I was out late the night before. Or something. So… I was sleepy. But that’s not new. XD

By the way, this wedding was coordinated by Christine Ong-Te Events, and the team that day was led by Mitch Uy. Thanks Mitch for making our lives easier (as always)! :D

So anyway… let’s get on to the wedding! :D

For Imagine Nation Photography, shot with Toto Villaruel and Dennis Yu.

So, after months/years of planning, and 2 pre-nup sessions (XD), Jimbo and Shayla finally tied the knot (in a church, because, well, they’re already civilly married) last June 4, 2010. Yay. :D Actually, you know something? I did not even expect to be there. Why, you ask? Well, it’s simple. See, Toto and Carlo were the ones who were really supposed to shoot the wedding. Jamie and Gracielle also planned to go because… just because. And since I knew Jimbo and Shy were really cutting down on expenses, I didn’t really want to insist on my going, because I would be another mouth to feed. However, you know God works in mysterious ways, right?

What happened, you ask? Gracielle got a Palawan wedding on the day of Jimbo and Shy’s wedding, with Jamie as the backup, so I could finally come along to this wedding. (Side note: if you’re trying not spend too much on food during your own wedding, invite all those who are sure not to come, those with earlier obligations. See? Instant savings! XD). Then, Carlo had to beg off of the wedding because he was planning to do something for his girlfriend for her birthday (yeah, I would choose that too, actually… XD), so I became Toto’s backup. Amazing, right? :D And Dennis was free to act as third photographer. So we were all set, right? :D

The event was coordinated by My Big Event. No, the event is not mine, it’s the name of the team. XD

Yehey, another wedding posted! April 24, 2010 was the wedding of JD and Vanessa (no, really? XD). 23 days ago from this day we did their pre-nup, and now… it was the big day! :D So let’s get to it!

For Imagine Nation Photography, shot with Mikki Eduardo… and with John Mateos Ong and the rest of Batch 5. Too many to all mention. Wahaha. XD

Videography by WANG Videography.

So what’s the story here? Mark and Monette have been married for ten years (even if they amazingly don’t look it… I hope I age as well as they do. XD), and they just wanted to renew their vows complete with better pictures and video. Apparently, their old photos… well, they didn’t like them. So with their renewal this year, they hoped to get better photos. And of course, not to brag, but from me, they’re definitely gonna get those. Hehe. :D It also doesn’t hurt that they’re very NICE, as in NICE people, so it was really a pleasure shooting them. :D

Side note, the church was in Santuario de San Antonio and the reception was in Manila Peninsula, because that’s where it all happened ten years ago. Yay. :D

For Imagine Nation Photography, shot with Jamie Lihan.

Yay, Enchanted Kingdom! I’ve been here twice, but never to shoot. So when Jamie offered me the opportunity to come along last June 7, 2010, of course I jumped at the chance. Yeh. :D

It was a fun pre-nup, and I think that was the point of Jayson and Dang anyway. :D They came with an entourage actually. Haha. So while we were off shooting pics, the rest of them were just wandering around EK. Fun stuff. XD

Me, Jamie, and Jayson and Dang all got unlimited rides. Even if Dang was scared of some of the rides, that didn’t stop her from getting on some of them. Go Dang! :D

For Imagine Nation Photography, shot with Jay Jay Lucas. No VAs, ’cause of… I forgot. Haha. No wedding that day of March 27, 2010, had VAs, I think. XD

What’s Nathan and Joyce’s story? Well, I got it from Nathan himself. :D Nathan’s cousin Karina (who, incidentally, was Joyce’s maid of honor), came to visit him when he was in Perth, Western Australia. At the time he was single with no interest in a relationship but, through Karina’s efforts of matchmaking, Joyce added Nathan on Facebook. Karina further got things going by inviting Nathan into her and Joyce’s conversation, then suddenly leaving. This got the two talking. XD

From having no intentions of getting into a relationship, in a nutshell, the two had more things in common than they thought, so it wasn’t even more than a month that they already knew they would get married! Isn’t that amazing? :D Good job Karina! :D

So… everything was in Alpadi Estate in Antipolo. We got there via Marcos Highway… and before that, we stopped at Burger King. Yay, food. XD Oh, and guess what happened when we got to Alpadi? More food, ’cause neither Nathan or Joyce were there yet. Haha. I thought my stomach would explode that day. And it was so hot too. XD

So, when Nathan and Joyce finally arrived… something to do. Yay. :D On with the pictures!
