So, I’ve been busy. You know, like everybody else. I’m not special in that regard hahaha. I’m just saying that I’ve been so busy, I haven’t been able to upload some of my past works. I’m sad about that, but hey, what you gonna do? Oh wait, you can do something… you can upload them!
So here I am trying to upload everything, yay. XD I’m starting with these delicious treats from Lulu and Kev. 🙂 Lulu and Kev is by married couple Kevin and Louise. I’ve known Kevin since I was in high school (don’t ask how long ago that was plzzz), and he was also my teammate in the LSGH arnis team. Before, I also used to practice food photography, and that involved me going over to his house, him cooking food, and me taking pics, yay. 😀
He contacted me for two shoots. Well, all their food, but in two batches. Get it? Not important. 😛 Point is, I had two opportunities to eat their food. Haha. But because I’m generous, I brought Rae along with me. She actually styled the photos, yay!
Without further ado: the food!
One of their savory/savoury (which spelling???) pies. I forgot the flavor, and again, minimalist look, because I think we were just starting here, but yeah, the taste? HEAVENLY.
More pies. Yes, they came in different flavors, all of them delicious. Kevin and Louise didn’t need to cook lunch for us, because damn, these pies got us all full already!
The pies came in different sizes too. These are bigger, if you will notice. XD
If they have the savory pies, they also make dessert pies! Chocolate! Not sure if this was official, but it looked good, so I put it in the blog. XD
But more on the chocolate pie later. Look: brownies!!! So chocolatey!
They also had these beautiful and sweet chocolate chip cookies! Definitely perfect with milk.
They had spreads too. This one was, if I am not mistaken, some kind of pâté.
Chocolate spread! As a chocolate lover, I was very happy. XD
Uhh… orange chocolate? XD Sorry, I forgot. But isn’t it pretty? 😀 It’s not a spread this time, this is something you eat directly.
Carrot cake! Many variations, all carrot cake. Haha. XD
Rae was brilliant here with the newspaper as texture/background. 😀
Sliced! Look at that texture!
Oh look, back to the chocolate pies! We loved their pies so much we ended up ordering a few weeks after the shoot, because we wanted more. XD
I mean, look at it!!! So nice and chocolatey!
So yes, if you’re going to base it on the pictures, all of these? They’re damn good! As in. Louise and Kevin put all their heart into making their creations, so the results will definitely be delicious. It’s a shame that the BF Saturday Market is no longer running as of now, but in case you want to sample these treats, the Lulu and Kev Facebook is still up. Contact them there, maybe? Christmas is coming up too, so they might privately still be making those treats. What have you got to lose, right? 😀
